Resolute Precision Manufacturing, originally Special Cutting Tools, was founded in the early 1940′s. The company originally produced “Specials”, the product from which our name was derived. During the 1970′s, Special Cutting Tools decided to make a strategic move into the high tolerance field of honing tools and honing stones. During the last 30 years, Special Cutting Tools has arisen as an industry leader in developing honing tooling, fixturing, and abrasives.
In 2022, Special Cutting Tools rebranded as Resolute Precision Manufacturing (RPM) and continues to expand and develop its services beyond just honing. We are proud to offer everything from CNC milling and turning, to custom solutions and inventory management.  

We are a leader in high quality customized precision machining services.  We offer innovative turning, milling, and honing solutions.  

Headquartered in Angola, Indiana, we are a values-based enterprise uniquely positioned to provide our customers with innovative solutions that deliver improved quality and value. We are centrally located and service customers throughout North America and the world.
